COVID-19 & Writing Progress
Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of blog posts. It’s been quite a long time since my last writing update, but between the global pandemic, the Winter holidays, and the start of the new year, I think it’s fair to say my schedule has been busy. I hope everyone has been isolating themselves and following COVID-19 measures appropriately, as well as staying healthy!
I wanted to give you all an update on my writing. I’ve made a lot of progress editing Where the Wind Takes Me. Though I have the cover art and I am more than halfway through completing my edit, I think that my goal of publishing it within the next two months is unrealistic. I believe a more appropriate deadline will be early Spring, 2021.
To entertain all my readers in the meantime, I will post a short story I wrote called Ezmerelda the Troll, which is a story about an alternate version of the 1950’s, where trollkind lives on a floating island in the sky. The story is not edited, and it aims to give a peak into the life of the protagonist, Ezmerelda herself, and the struggles of everyday life in the trollish weather factory. Honestly, it is a story that shouldn’t be taken so seriously. I wouldn’t consider it my best writing, but I believe it should suffice and satisfy my readers until I can publish my better novel.
I hope you enjoy the short story! I’ll add a page on this website that I can post short stories like this on. I hope you all like it! Happy New Year!
